If you look really really really close at a map of Indiana, you might find Carthage, IN. It’s home to less than 900 people and it’s the town Derek grew up in. Proud of his roots and the little community he’s grown to love, Derek has always had a place in his heart for small local business. As a writer, he’s most passionate about telling the stories of small businesses and helping them grow and earn the trust of their customers. After graduating high school, Derek took his talents to Ball State University, where he’s pursuing a degree in Public Relations and doubling as our Content Specialist. Some might say he’s a… go-getter. And, we agree! He’s been a member of award-winning PR teams through the PRSSA Hoosier Chapter and has already had work featured in the Indianapolis Business Journal.
