When ABV Advisors—a small, niche benefits compliance company—came to CA in 2008, they wanted one thing: a partner.

CHALLENGE: As a small business, ABV Advisors had been competing against big, national firms operating for decades longer. But its company leaders were determined to stay a step ahead of their competition and needed a way to communicate their differentiator, customer service. We were brought in to not only be a long-term marketing partner that would help grow the brand but one that would consistently provide the same great customer service they extend.

Relationships

As the beginning of a new era commenced, we spent hours, days, months getting to know ABV Advisors and their niche services. Their complex industry required investment on both ends and they were just as committed to teaching us as we were to learning it. We knew the potential their small business had and while it meant a steep learning curve for us, that was and has always been our investment to our clients—at no expense. Shortly into our journey, we discovered how many similarities our companies and personal lives had. From the same business philosophy to shared values, we soon became an integral role in each other’s success and it’s continued to strengthen our relationship over the course of a decade.

ABV transitioned from a small company searching for a marketing firm to a team of people we couldn’t imagine life without. From long nights spent strategizing campaigns to trading annual Christmas cards, hosting friendly dinners and attending fun events, we didn’t help grow a brand—we built a relationship. We made business personal, as we always do, and we’re proud to say that ABV Advisors has been our longest-standing client and one that will be with us well into the future.

Results

Over the span of our ten-year partnership, we’ve challenged the status quo, fueled our creativity in a highly-regulated industry, and questioned our sanity after late night brainstorming sessions. Seeing our hard work and a well-deserving client get the recognition they deserve has been the icing on the cake. We’ve undergone a rebrand, launched a new website, created impactful multi-platform campaigns and promoted events where ABV Advisors successfully stood out as the customer-centric benefits compliance firm it is. We’ve helped the company grow from a sole proprietor into a nationally-recognized provider in several brokerage groups. But most importantly, our personal investment in ABV Advisors has never wavered. Even when market changes occurred and slowed the course of business or new conferences popped up and we needed a quick promotion strategy, we’ve consistently stood by ABV Advisors’ side and stepped up to the plate to deliver impactful and personal results. We’ve weathered the challenges of being a small firm competing on a national stage and adjusted our strategy as business ebbed and flowed. And when we’re not working on the next big campaign, we’re always thinking of them, staying on top of industry patterns and calling to check up on life and business. We’ve witnessed and celebrated many of ABV Advisors’ greatest successes—and we look forward to the experiences we’ll share together for many years to come.
